About the Item

A pair of reclaimed 18th Century sandstone plinths found in a palazzo in Noto, Sicily. Each plinth bears 15 stone balls. Alas, I am not aware of the significance of these balls - it may have been a family crest or simply decoration. These wonderful pieces of architectural salvage can be used today as decorative items or incorporated into an architectural design in the home.  Dimensions: H37cm x W29cm x D12cm
