"Sfere" by Alessio Tasca, ceramic object from 1975

About the Item

"Sfere" sculpture by famous ceramic artist Alessio Tasca. Made in the 1970´s by the artist, marked in the ceramic with his stamp. Very good condition including a small ceramic ring to hold the sfere in position. Alessio Tasca participated in several editions of the Triennale in Milan as well as the Biennale in Venise where he won the 1st prize in ceramics in 1964. The "Sfere" works mark the beginning of a new body of work based on the extrusion of cylinders from the grid.
