A Squeeze sculpture. Steve Tobin (b. 1957) From a series of Squeeze bronzes created by Tobin in the late 1990s. A patinated and painted bronze sculpture mounted on an aged, charred integral wooden plinth. Signed Tobin under plinth. Measures: Height ca. 11 1/2 in. Tobin is one of America's important living sculptors. He lives and works in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. His work is held widely in private and major public collections, including the American Craft Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the American Glass Museum, and the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Switzerland.
