Some say that the universe was born when the gods placed three perfect
jade stones... Whether true or not, TALARA celebrates the spiritual
significance that this element held in the pre-Hispanic worldview, its position
as a sacred and eternal resource —due to its hardness— from which life
emerges.
Abe Vettoretti and Maria Dolores, have a passion that brought them together: the amazement for their Latin maestros’ artisanal hand, as well as the love for contemporary art and design. Through their first collection of pieces, which they consider spatial contemporary jewelry, their aim was to use ancestral materials that the early cultures of their homeland (Mexico) regarded as sacred and precious, and to translate those legends into conceptual lines
