About the Item
Mais Alma Marble Collection is a set of sculptures, the result of our study of forms and the art works we pay homage to in our studio. The Tamara sculpture is the result of handling three types of Brazilian marble: Yellow Bamboo, Victoria Falls, Emerald Green and Negroni.
This piece is a tribute to the work Les Deux Amies (1923) by Polish painter Tamara de Lempicka, an iconic artist of the Art Déco movement. Her unmistakable signature is a blend of the modernity of a triumphant industrial society with luxury and sensuality. She wanted her style to be "clean" and elegant, with bright, clear colors and polished lines.
