This very sensual heavy vintage bronze sculpture is very Constantin Brancusi meets Jean Arp. it is an abstract meets figurative female form in repose and pose. It is restrained and elegant. There is a deep underlying sensuality to the bronze. The sculptor of this is unknown but it is fabulous. There is no signature that we can visibly find and see but may be signed underneath the body where the base is connected. We cannot determine that. It has been professionally polished to the best it can be as it was a very dark patina from not being polished for a long time. Now it has light, beauty and life. This is from the late 1960s or early 1970s. It is very heavy and most fabulous. Signed or unsigned it is amazing and will strike a great element in your home. It is very heavy and wonderful. It looks museum quality.
