19th C. Austrian Cold Painted Terracotta Lying Pug Dog Red Collar Glass Eyes
About the Item
19th century Austrian terracotta lying mini pug dog with red collar and glass eyes.
I found this very lovely small Austrian cold hand painted terracotta model of a lying Pug dog with little painted red collar and black glass pin eyes. I could not resist and needed to buy it.
It literally is the small version of the big terracotta pug dogs, only usually they are up on their feet or sitting down.
I found bigger Austrian terracotta doggies before, but this one is a cute little find don't you think.
Unfortunately he is been glued a few times in the past, all three of his feet have been broken off and put back on. Not completely invisible but not to notable either. Miraculously its tail still is in tact.
