About the Item

19th century Austrian figural group of a family of cats. The group has been cold painted and has vibrant coloring. The male and female cats have striped coats and glass eyes, and are depicted holding a baby cat, as they look on adoringly. They appear to be seated in an outside setting. Whimsical and lovely.
