Art Deco porcelain French Bulldog figurine. This blue - grey dog figurine was designed by Otto Thiem, for the porcelain factory Fraureuth Kunstabteilung Germany. This large French bulldog sculpture is signed THIEM and is also numbered: 9/856. Underneith you see the green porcelain stamp, Fraureuth Porcelain Factory Germany and a paper label with the limited edition number and Kunst - Abteilung Fraureuth. This Porcelain Animal Sculpture dates from the 1920s. For the age in great condition, only the ears have some traces of age and use: In front of both ears you feel wear on the edge of the ears above, and on one ear on the side.
