Brutalist Vintage Fish Sculpture 1960s in the Manner of Fantoni

About the Item

Large vintage Brutalist steel sculpture of fishes fashioned from old pliers and a sheet metal snip. In the manner of Marcello Fantoni. The steel has been drizzled with solder to give an extra corroded, mottled feel. Set on a solid, mitered oak base with a bronze tag that says "FISH." 31 1/2" long, 18 1/2" high, base 13" x 9." Excellent condition, rust and accretions.
