About the Item

Bull. Bronze. Following the model of BENLLIURE GIL, Mariano (Valencia 1862-Madrid, 1947). Mariano Benlliure was a Spanish sculptor, a precocious creator both in the pictorial and sculptural fields. He trained in Valencia, Madrid, Paris, Rome, etc., and his name became famous, more or less, when he settled in Madrid in 1887, already obtaining a First Medal at the National Exhibition this year. His healthy economic situation allowed him to have a great social life, meeting prominent figures of the time. He carried out numerous religious, civil and funerary works (Cabra, Madrid, Seville, Navarra, etc.), and his work is preserved in important private collections and in institutions. · Size: 84x39xx54 Base 74x39 International Buyers – Please Note: for those articles that need Export Permits (those older than 100 years), the obtaining of the Permit will be processed without additional expenses (if you choose the seller sends it to you), but the period for the obtention of it may vary from 10 to 35 days.
