Crab by Alcino Silversmith 1902 is a handcrafted piece in 925 sterling silver with rock crystal. The piece is totally handcrafted, hammered and chiseled by excellent craftsmen, giving this piece a much higher future valorization. Used techniques: Chiseling is the process of shaping a piece of material by carving or cutting away small pieces. It can be done with a variety of tools, but is most commonly associated with using a chisel. Throughout history, chiseling has been an essential part of sculpting and architecture. Today, chiseling is still widely used in both art and construction. One of the main benefits of chiseling is that it allows for a high degree of control over the final shape of the object being created. This means that complex shapes and detailed designs can be created using this technique. Additionally, chiseling can be used to create both smooth and textured surfaces, depending on the desired effect and piece. This animal sculpture is a unique piece due to the rock crystal being unique and the handmade processes. No two animals will never be the same. Rock Crystal is a clear mineral knowned for harmony, balance and purify the locals where you can find them. Crab's are also associated with sensitivity, intuition and transformation. And are also related to resilience and adaptability. This piece was handcrafted in our workshop in Porto, Portugal. It is all made in Sterling silver 925 with rock crystal application and the eyes are natural colar. . The finishing is oxidized. Sterling Silver 925 Weight: 494 grames.
