About the Item

Graceful even when standing still the Dog on Marble Base is a striking addition to any setting. Using traditional lost wax casting methods the Dog on Marble Base statue is created in pieces and then joined together with brazing and hand chaised details are added to give a high level of detail to the figure. The Dog is then mounted on a solid marble base to lend it stability as well as an enduring appearance. The Dog on Marble B is finished in a multi stage, time consuming process requiring skilled and experienced artisans.
