Douglas Brett Bronze Fish 2008

A wonderful whimsical bronze of what looks like a hare signed Flanagan. We believe it may be by the noted Welsh artist Barry Flanagan. It was from a prominent NY State estate.

An immense and heavy bronze by the noted artist Jeff Day. he is currently in China but we managed to converse with him. He identified the work and the approximate year it was cast and how heard it was to make. He thinks he signed it although we can't find his mark. it is quite impressive and has a beautiful gold flecked patina. There is a fracture in the center small and hard to spot that occurred in the casting. This is a unique piece. There are some minor losses to the patina near the base and minor nicks and scratches. The base has been repaired in one corner. One other corner is missing the wood trim, pictured. The piece and shows its age with age appropriate wear. A large signed and very heavy Arthur Gibbons metal sculpture. It is quite lovely. It is titled "motet" 84. It sits on black pedestal which is a bit scuffed up. The measurements below are for the sculpture on the pedestal. The actual sculpture itself measures as follows: 64.75 inches tall, 39 inches wide and 20 inches wide.
