About the Item

This vintage patinated bronze sculpture presents a detailed beautifully depiction of two hound dogs cornering a fox in front of a large tree stump. Each subject is magnificently rendered by the artist's use of chiseling resulting in near lifelike anatomical details. The original dark brown patina intensifies the somber scene. The name of the creator, P J Mene, is signed in the foreground of the piece.
