This sculpture depicts a bird in mid-flight, with graceful, sweeping wings and a streamlined body. The sculpture has been crafted from a dark, metal material, likely bronze, giving it a rich, polished patina. There is some visible wear to the piece as seen in the attached images. This item was purchased on a buying trip to England over 40 years ago by the founder of our store, Dixon Smith. It was within her personal collection - which is now for sale in our storefront. There are no visible makers markers or indicators of its origin that we can see. We are unsure on the date this was manufactured - could be much older than we indicated.
