Large bronze sculpture with a brown patina and golden highlights, signed on the base: L. Riché. A renowned animal sculptor, Louis Riché (1877-1949) left his mark on his era with the precision of his work and his passion for felines. This talented artist has created a captivating work here. Two lionesses cling to each other, their powerful bodies at rest. Lying down, one of the lionesses rubs its head, showing its affection. The second, seated, seems to roar. With her ears lowered, she wrinkles her features and reveals her carnivorous teeth.
