Mid-20th Century Painted Metal Fishing Store Trade Sign
A large example of a mid-20th Century hand painted tin tackle/fishing shop trade sign. Likely to have been hung in a shop window to advertise service. Showing some loss to surface and with an aged look. Hanging hooks in place but without the chains photographed, instead this item comes with brass coloured small links of chains of 3 and 4 loops only. Its double sided and highly decorative we feel.

Condition: Good
Aged wear across all surfaces, the painted surface which are scuffed and shows loss in areas we have tried to show in the photos provided. A natural crackling of the painted surface is present, and the metal can be seen under the paint which has flacked of in sections. The chains photographed are not part of this sale but instead this item comes with 4 and 3 brass looped chains that it could be hung from instead. This is not an antique item but still highly decorative and large.
