A striking mid-20th century sculptural depiction of a seated whippet or Italian greyhound dog. Crafted in painted composite or resin with an aged, ivory-white surface, the piece features realistic modeling of the canine form with visible musculature, ribbing, and graceful posture. Good vintage condition with light patina and wear. There are possible age and wear marks throughout, although it appears intentional to give a patinated look, including craquelure and minor chipping. Since we are unable to determine if this wear was intentional and part of the sculpture we are listing the possible blemishes to err on the safe side. Attractive and ready for immediate use.
