Pair of 19th Century Staffordshire Dogs

About the Item

A seated pair of circa 1860 large Staffordshire dogs, textured coats and very well painted, the faces to resemble Kind Charles II moustached face. These are of great quality and finely decorated. The original inspiration for the Staffordshire Potteries is said to have been Queen Victorias’ King Charles Spaniel, Dash. Height 34 cm x Width 28 cm x Depth 19.5 cm.
