Pair of French Weathered Carved Cast Stone Garden Statuary Wescott Lions
About the Item
Carved of sandstone and set on integral stepped base, the tall vintage felines are shown sitting on their back legs and holding a heraldic shield with their front paws. The Westcott armorial lions have wonderful expression with long hair and thick paws. Both stately cat sculptures are in excellent condition and adorn a weathered patinated finish with evidence of outdoor use; they could be used as sentinels on either side of a front or back door. Each cat weighs over 118 pounds.
