These fine antique George III sterling silver ribbon pullers/threaders have a hinged scissor action.
The pullers have been realistically modelled in the form of a stork and are embellished with chased decoration detailing the bird's plumage and features.
One finger grip is fitted with a chased decorated four claw foot, allowing the pullers to sit securely perpendicular.
The underside of the claw foot/stand is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved initial 'S'.
