A towering and believable pair of hand-carved wooden elephant tusks by Franz Reich. There is no ivory content in these tusks (wood). Set on a black lacquered wooden base showing the artist's inscription. (Franz Reich 1948 Sierra Leone West Africa.) Restored to original condition, purchased from a private owner and collector of African arts.
