About the Item

Artistic quality bronze sculpture with overdone features. There must be collectors out there who immediately know the name of the artist who created this wonderful and rare style work of art. What makes this bronze capricorn/ibex stand out from anything we ever saw, are the overdone features such as the extra large horns, the extra large hooves, the extra muscular body, the extra large sik and the special facial expression. Those features may be 'overdone', but they are also of beautiful quality and detail and only a true artist is capable of creating such a wonderful work of art. Apart from one minor crack in a hind leg (see image 9) this stunning and heavy bronze sculpture is in excellent condition. It has a marvelous patina and the lasting impression it makes, also makes it a perfect talking piece. Maximum height x width x depth: 11 x 9.5 x 3.5 inches. Again great value for money and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days is complimentary. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by.
