On his back, like a backpack, the bulldog's head.
The bulldog, with its massive, muscular, stocky body as well as a powerful jaw evokes strength. His strength, his tenacity, his willingness to fight stronger animals.
This sculpture certainly found its inspiration in England, or Aaron Hinojosa, the first country where he stayed after leaving Mexico.
Victorian caricaturists from the end of the 18th century also began to accompany the figure of Britannia with a lion and a bulldog.
