About the Item
A really fabulous cubist sculpture of a monkey or chimpanzee by the noted Costa Rican artist Ulises Jimenez Obregon titled Volca and made out of the rare wood known as Cenizaro. This sculpture is mounted onto a base that bears a brass plaque in front and a paper label by the artist on the base. It is truly whimsical and wonderfully large in scale. This artist is internationally known and well exhibited and in a great many collections.
