Vintage Lost Wax Cast Bronze Statue of a Greyhound Dog in Playful Position

About the Item

A vintage lost wax cast bronze playful puppy with dark patina. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire Perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this charming statue depicts a greyhound or whippet type dog in the puppy play position. Lowering his head down to the ground, he is ready to pounce! The curve of his tail responds beautifully to his back's arching movement. Boasting a dark patina, this vintage bronze sculpture will bring a joyous touch to any home!
