About the Item
Fantastic original bronze sculpture by California sculptor/artist Donal Hord and dates from the 1930's. Titled "Aztec" and is signed on the lower edge. Listed in the Donal Hord book. I am guessing this was a study for when he sculpted the Aztec what is located at San Diego State University. Made of bronze and has a wonderful patina. In very nice condition. I did not want to clean it. Could use a good professional cleaning. No cracks, no repairs, no chips and displays well. Measures 10" tall by 4 1/4" wide. Weight is 7 pounds 10 ounces. Fresh from an estate.
