French bisque porcelain portrait bust in the Renaissance manner. French, 19th Century Measures: height 65 cm, width 40 cm, depth 22 cm. This bust is crafted from finely painted bisque porcelain. The bust portrays a young man in Renaissance fashion clothing: he tilts his head to his left, glancing into the distance. His curly hair sits beneath an elaborate feathered hat, while his painted clothing is parcel gilt. The bust is raised on a socle above a marble base. The underside features various marks.
