About sculpture This remarkable portrait bust is in all likelihood a privately commissioned sculpture from around 1940s. Despite the fact that the sculpture is not signed, it is certainly an excellent example of American expressive sculpture of that period and was created by a talented artist who managed to accurately convey not only the bright appearance, but also the inner character of the person.
