A stunning pair of American Hollywood Regency plaster busts in the style of English romantic illustrator, John Austen. They portray book-ended and stylized male and female figures with a Greco-Roman feel that have been "cold-painted" in a metallic pewter. They each sit on black enameled cube bases that are also molded in plaster and are both in amazing original condition down to the original brown baize to the underside of their bases.
