About the Item
A striking and most elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated bronze and ormolu cherubs busts. Each charming and high quality bust is raised on a square base with a most elegant patinated bronze and ormolu socle shape pedestal support. The cherub to the left displays a lovely ormolu accent draped over his should with pine cones and foliate designs in his hair while the cherub to the right displays a foliate reserve at his front with beautiful richly chased Bacchanalian grape vines in his hair.
