Signed Mid 20th Century Plaster Bust of a Young Man by Harold Sampson Pfeiffer
About the Item
A very handsome patinated plaster bust of a young man, most likely a commissioned piece bearing the sitters initials J.D.F. signed on the reverse with impressed signature and dated 06/48, raised overall upon a square teak base. Dimensions, 16" high (including base) x 7" wide x 8.75" deep.
PROVENANCE: Purchased directly from the Artists Estate.
Harold Sampson Pfeiffer (1908-1997) is a listed member of the Sculptors Society of Canada (SSC) whose works are in several public collections including Alberta House in London England, Canadian Museum of Civilization in Hull Quebec, Sculptor’s Society of Canada in Toronto Canada.

Harold Sampson Pfeiffer was born in 1908. He was a listed member of the Sculptors Society of Canada (SSC) whose works are in several public collections including Alberta House, London England, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Hull Quebec and Sculptor’s Society of Canada, Toronto Canada. He died in 1997.
