19th c French Children's Mannequin with Wooden Feet and Attachments
About the Item
This rare 19th century free-standing child's mannequin is probably from Siegel & Stockman, a Paris, France company that made tailor's dummies, window bustforms, mannequins and accessories hangers since 1867. Stockman's mannequins are famous worldwide. This is a fine example in very good condition featuring a stockinette covered body, a red velvet insert at the neck and wooden feet and attachments.
Stands freely and securely, 43.5 inches tall. Nice old patina to the black painted feet.
