About the Item

19TH Century artist male lay figure form This hand carved pine artists lay figure is untouched in form and shows lots of natural age. Dimensions in inches: H 12” x W 3” x D 1.5” Age: 19th Century Origin: France (Paris) Condition: Aged Note: on the main figure is part of this sale his other friends are sold separately in our store. In overall very presentable condition, this item shows signs of wear and tear in the form of loss of surface detail, loss joints and missing pine across the ankles, wrists and neck due to being used so much. We also believe the left hand has been re-carved but has been done very well inline with the right hand. This figure has a natural waxed sheen to it as shown and although pictured standing is loss in the ankle joints which makes it unstable. We strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment upon purchase.
