19th Century Derby Mansion House Dwarf Figurines, Set Of 2

About the Item

Wonderful pair of Derby Porcelain "Mansion House" dwarfs. Both figures are modeled wearing large hat advertisements, most likely as they stood outside Mansion House in London. Both figures are dressed in richly painted costumes with bright sashes tied around large rotund abdomens . They are standing on green grassy mound bases. The figures both have the incised 'D' on bottom.
