19th Century French Carved Terracotta Sculpture Composition Signed Baleaio
About the Item
Crafted in France, circa 1880, the antique clay composition features three cheerful children in traditional clothing and boots; they are sitting on a bench, laughing and talking with each other. This work of art has beautiful detailed work with polychrome and natural clay finish. A plaque on the front reading "Un Projet" (a project), is signed by the artist, Baleaio. The piece is in excellent condition with a rich patinated finish. Decorate a library shelf with this fine terracotta sculpture, or place it on a console or buffet.
