About the Item

A charming and very decorative Italian white ceramic figurative circular centerpiece depicting a group of dwarfs around a palm tree, in a toasting festive attitude. This Italian antique ceramic work, dates back to the early 19th century, soft-paste hand-modeled and enameled by the Italian manufactory, Ceramiche d'Este near Padua, in Veneto region, marked on the bottom, presents stunning details. Five cheerful dwarf figures drinking and eating; It stands on a removable round basement decorated with relief grotesque and festoons pattern. It comes from a private collection of a Milanese family. Good age related condition, wear consistent with age and use, minor chips and restorations. Please kindly notice that this artwork is shipped from Italy.
