About the Item
Abstract bronze female statuette, partially polished with patinated green accents by Polish sculptor Stanislaw Wysocki. (b. 1949). Signed by the artist, marked "HC" and dated 2010. In very good condition.
Stanisław Wysocki studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, and later (1981–86) at the Hochschule der Kunste in Berlin. He worked as an apprentice in the famous sculpture foundry Herman Noack, where he met many world-renowned sculptors, including Henry Moore.
