This exquisite pair of Baroque-style Limoges porcelain figurines was designed by Alpinien Margaine (French, active after 1854) and produced by the renowned Gibus et Cie foundry (1853–1972). Crafted in delicate baby blue, pink and gold tones, the pieces exude 19th-century French elegance. Each figurine is titled: "Élégante à l'ombrelle" and "Sur-chapeau élégant". These finely detailed sculptures showcase the artistry of Pierre-Justin Gibus as the manufacturer and Margaine as the designer, making them exceptional collector’s items and a sophisticated addition to any antique porcelain collection.
