Antique Art Nouveau Lamp w/Partially Nude Woman, Jean-Baptiste Germain, French

About the Item

We are art nouveau lovers as one might be able to see looking at our inventory. Lamps are always at the top of our "want list". We found a beauty here. She is gracefully standing in a leafy plant base as she holds ups a stem with leaves. The quality casting and rich warm patina all are present. The artist Jean Baptiste Germain (1841-1910) was well received in his lifetime and produced many beautiful sculptures. We were delighted to locate this one. One of the best we have offered in quite sometime. The lamps are just hard to find. The height listed does not include the lightbulb. The statue is 19'' high. You can certainly locate fancier light bulbs if desired. Standard candelabra sockets.
