Wonderful large "Putto" figure handmade in the 1930s at Michael Andersen & Sons, Denmark. The figure is made from earthenware and is covered in a beautiful fat grey craquelé glazing. Stamped with the manufacturers logo (3 fishes) underneath. Michael Andersen & Sons was a famous danish ceramics workshop established in 1890 at the small island of Bornholm, Denmark.
