This high action, well modeled example of 2 boxers engaged in their sport is exactly the kind of work we are looking to buy. Good bronzes with sports themes are very hard to find that go back as far as this example.
Austrian artists created great bronzes that we have carried over the years and we were thrilled to find such a fine example. Artist signed "Thuss" and also bears the "Argentor" foundry signature. Richard Thuss 1865-1953 is an artist that created many fine works that we have offered. Mounted on the original marble base add to the beauty of this exciting bronze.
