About the Item

Designed by Adolph Amberg, modelled as a Japanese lady in traditional dress, a parrot perched on her left arm, above an oval base. The sculptor Adolph Amberg designed the Hochzeitszug table garniture for the marriage of the Crown Prince of Prussia in 1904. Consisting of twenty figures, two candelabra and two fruit bowls, the garniture was conceived as a procession of different peoples paying homage to the bridal couple.
