Effective, very impressive and visually grateful over 1.5-meter high, natural dimensions bronze sculpture "Hebe" the Goddess of Youth after Bertel Thorvaldsen depicting a young woman with a bowl and oinochoe (Greek jug for making and pouring wine). Maintained in the classical canon of statuesque ancient sculpture, with a beautifully marked counterpoint, giving the form of lightness and grace. A contemporary, artistically excellent replica of "Hebe" the Goddess of Youth. "Canova" signature refers to the famous Italian sculptor, Coryphius of Classicism - Antonio Canova (1757-1822), but Canova's Hebe looks a bit different. This sculpture actually refers to "Hebe" made originally by Canova's competitor Danish/Icelandic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen (19 November 1770 – 24 March 1844) who spent most of his life (1797–1838) in Italy. In his time, he was seen as the successor of master sculptor Antonio Canova. Among his more famous public monuments are the statues of Nicolaus Copernicus and Józef Poniatowski in Warsaw; the statue of Maximilian I in Munich, and the tomb monument of Pope Pius VII, the only work by a non-Catholic in St. Peter's Basilica. Bertel Thorvaldsen created two versions of Hebe, this statue from 1806 and a second statue in 1816, nearly identical to the first but with the chest fully covered by the goddesses’ dress A contemporary Replica made in an Italian master workshop with great attention to details and proportions.
