Hippolyte Moreau (1832-1927): "L'Aurore". Bronze proof with shaded red-brown patina. Signed. Sculpture turning on its base and bearing a small label: Aurore par H. Moreau (médaille d'or). The young woman, dressed in a drape suggesting her nudity, appears to be rising from a bank of clouds. She holds her drape in one hand and a rose in the other.
