Bronze sculpture of a Cupid, after Lemire

About the Item

Green patina bronze proof of a cupid stringing his bow, after a marble original presented at the 1814 Salon by Charles Gabriel Sauvage dit Lemire (1741-1827). Love is shown seated and concentrating, fastening his bowstring with the quiver at his feet.
