Épreuve en bronze à patine brune et patine médaille signé Majera. Cette œuvre puissante issue de la mythologie grecque, figure la déesse Europe nue, allongée sur un Taureau. Fille du roi de Tyr, Europe est enlevée par Zeus métamorphosé en Taureau afin de ne pas être reconnu.
Ayant une forte symbolique, le Taureau, la tête basse reflète ici toute sa force et sa vitalité. Europe, lascive et souriante, est étendue attendant la transformation de son amant.
