About the Item
"Procession" is a captivating bronze sculpture by Bruno Lucchesi, a renowned Italian-American artist born in 1926. This exquisite piece features a group of women gracefully arranged on a balcony, evoking a sense of elegance and camaraderie. The sculpture bears Lucchesi's signature, subtly inscribed on the edge of the balcony as "B. Lucchesi." Resting upon a sturdy stone base, the artwork is elevated by a custom-fitted wooden stand, adding to its grandeur. Standing at 64 3/4 inches tall and 27 1/4 inches wide, the bronze sculpture commands attention with its intricate details and expressive forms. The stone base measures 36 inches in height and 26 1/2 inches in width, while the wooden stand adds an additional 30 inches in height. A partial paper label adorns the underside of the stone base, offering a glimpse into the sculpture's history, with a dated reference to 1976. This masterpiece by Lucchesi captures the essence of beauty and unity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of "Procession."
