Cast bronze sculpture titled "Mother and Child" by Mexican-American artist Héctor Najera (b. 1931), dated 1995 and numbered 10/55. This expressive work depicts a stylized maternal figure holding a reclining child, both rendered with highly abstracted and symbolic features, drawing from pre-Columbian, surrealist, and spiritual influences.
